Sahatsa Dantza Taldea

Mendebaldeko Pirineotatik Bizkaiko Golkoraino, horra hor geure Euskal Herria, Euskararen herria, aintzinako herria, landa latz eta menditsuz inguratua, Euskal Herria, folklorea bere sustraietan bizirik gordetzen jakin duena, herri zaharra. Eta hortxe bertan, Urola bailarako erdigune ezkutuan, bihotz-bihotzean, emango ditu bere lehen urratsak Sahatsa Euskal Dantza Taldeak 1976.urtean. Gaur egun Gipuzkoako Azpeitia eta Azkoitiako gaztez osatua, euskal folklorea ezagutaraztea eta zabaltzea du helbururik nagusiena eta horretan dihardu tinko eta firmoki.

A orillas del Océano Atlántico, en el centro del Golfo de Bizkaia y a ambos lados de los Pirineos, se encuentra Euskal Herria (Pueblo de los Vascos), pueblo ancestral de arraigadas costumbres que ha sabido mantener firme su folklore. Y es ahí, en pleno corazón del Valle del Urola, donde el Grupo de Danzas Vascas Sahatsa, comenzara su andadura el ano 1976. Formada por unos 60 componentes, en su mayoría de Azkoitia y Azpeitia, su objetivo es dar a conocer y divulgar el folklore de Euskal Herria, tanto dentro como fuera de sus fronteras.

From both sides of the Pyrennees, on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, in the center of the Bay of Biscay is placed Euskal Herria, land of the Basques, ancient people, people of well-rooted customs who has been able to keep up their folklore alive. And it is here, in the very heart of the Urola Valley, where the Sahatsa Basque Dance Group was founded in 1976. Nowadays, it is made up by 60 people from the friendly villages of Azkoitia and Azpeitia, being their main aim the spreading of the Basque folklore inside and outside the Basque Country
